Eatonville's very own Trooper John Dattilo for getting the ball rolling and organizing donations from fellow Troopers!
It was a Pizza Wednesday Club to remember as Jay Brower made his usual appearance... It's safe to say our ESD Superintendent has a thing for pizza...
Coach Douglas Fillbach and the EHS Baseball Team were in the house acting as youth mentors to the over 350 students who walked through the doors! These young men were outstanding as they picked up trash, entertained the kids, and sat in the back seat of Trooper Dattilo's patrol car... I don't think that was as fun as they thought it would be.
Don't forget that, boys!
Youth volunteers were plenty today with our growing gaggle of EES helpers (props to parents who encourage community service- Lillian Baskett, Jennifer Ann Peterson, Jeffrey Peterson) and our 2 reliable EHS seniors, Natalie Accarino and Tayler Renae Stann. These volunteers made sure every detail was delivered, from stickers to candy to organizing thank you cards for our sponsors.
And as always, Ashlyn Heagle and the Myles Pizza Depot crew put up with a LOT today- this event wouldn't be nearly the same without them. It's hard enough to run a business in Eatonville, but sometimes even harder when the customers overrun YOU. THANK YOU Ashlyn!
